According to police, the encounter broke out after personnel of the Special Task Force (STF) and local police intercepted the two main accused – Sarvjeet Singh and Amarjeet Singh – while they were travelling on the same bike that they were using when they shot Tarsem Singh.
The main individual suspected in the murder case of Baba Tarsem Singh was fatally shot during an encounter with the Uttarakhand STF. The incident occurred in the Bhagwanpur vicinity of Haridwar.
