It was a relatively quiet week for IU news, with rosters set and summer recruiting just beginning. The biggest stories involved former Hoosiers now in the NBA.

This week, another transfer portal commit was announced, adding another piece to the roster. This could round out transfer portal recruiting with a talented slate of players set for the 2024-2025 roster.

Some of the final roster pieces committed for both the men’s and women’s teams this week. Each squad got the sharpshooter they desperately needed while the women also added a post player.

Another week and more big-time commitments for IU basketball. This time, two of the top players in the portal committed to the Hoosiers.

With the college basketball season over, except for the national championships, the offseason has begun for nearly everyone. From an IU perspective, they continue to look to fill their roster for 2023-2024.

The women’s team's successful 2023-2024 season ended in the Sweet Sixteen in a thriller against undefeated South Carolina. Also, the men had a really good week when it came to putting together next year’s roster with a recruit and two returnees.

While it was the most successful week on the court for the Hoosiers in some time, drama off it overshadowed the positive results in many ways.

The biggest game in Assembly Hall this season occurred on Thursday night. Caitlin Clark and Iowa came into a hostile and packed arena and left with a loss as the Hoosiers played their best game of the season thus far.

Women’s basketball had a huge week with two wins and two program records broken.

In the last few days, IU’s time on the court started with a miracle comeback versus Ohio State but ended badly against Purdue.
