Heres Meteorologist Rick Fritsch in the Juneau Forecast Office on Back Loop Road said the temperature got to at least minus four degrees at the official Juneau Airport station. Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - This past weekends snowfall varied greatly around the city and borough. Edward Liske, the lead forecaster at the Juneau Forecast Office, says 2.5 inches was recorded at the airport; 6.5 inches at the Juneau Forecast Office on Back Loop Road, and 7.7 inches at the Juneau Douglas Wastewater Treatment Plant at the Rock Dump downtown.
