portion, the u.s. portion of the sanctions were passed by congress and they are in the law today. the way the president will lift that is through the use of a security waiver. the next president of the united states simply has to undo the use of the waiver and the sanctions necessary place and they would be reinstated. you don t need a cabinet fully stormed to do that. in fact, i m telling everyone if i m elected president, we will not use the waiver to hold back sanctions, especially not as a result of this deal. the deal as you point out, lots of people can poke holes in it and point out flaws. the obama administration said what s the alternative. they argue that this deal and the sanctions depend on international cooperation and the russians and chinese were already talking about getting rid of sanctions. is it not possible that this is the best deal any american

first of all there isn t a vote that congress is going to have on an up or down vote on a deal. they will have a role. congress will continue to have a role. when it comes to a point in the process where they would roll back sanctions. that s always been the case. the letter reiterated the role that they would have. what if a vote to eliminate or he s up sanctions against sanctions they reject what the secretary is maybe promising the iranians as part of a deal that the u.s. will loosen the sanctions. we have been having this debate for some time in congress. the question is is what is your goal here? if we are reaching a deal where we can prevent iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon where we can roll back the steps they have taken forward, why would you need to put sanctions in place? sanctions are not a hard vote. nobody should forget that president obama and secretary kerry were the ones who led the fight to put sanctions in place. the whole point was to get the iranians to th
