Bay 2019. We have an exciting announcement. I am so glad you are here to join us on this Beautiful Day overlooking the lovely bridge. I am frank finn. I am here for the golden state warriors. It is a lot of years on that side and of course time on this side. You know i have done a lot of events for both mayors in the city. It is an honor to be here. I am a bay area guy born and raised here. We are bringing two cities together to do something positive and to make things happen in the bay area. We have the biggest champions from the neighborhoods and cities here for battle of the bay. We want to acknowledge the lovely mayor mayor london breed and from oakland to my right. It is a competition, folks. It is friendly. The smiles are great. You know we are rolling our sleeves in a few moments. Lets acknowledge from both sides. It wouldnt be a battle without or mascots. Transportation authority to conduct a study, bringing back bus service on 3rd street. Bring back the 15 and potentially routing it to connect with exsettlor and the bart rain to station to the south. Chair all right. Noted. With that is there any general Public Comment . A call for the calvary to come. [laughter] to your rescue. Sounded like that. So im asking the supervisors. When we have our projects that do the asphalting, somehow we should keep in mind our children, school children, our youth and our elders when they cross from one side to the other. We kind of have those things the asphalt. And you dont have the crossing lines in place. Three months now. On san bruno. And i have spoken here four times. You know, i have to stand there and see that our kids are safe. I have to ask like a policeman. Why isnt m. T. A. Doing their job . Why isnt m. T. A. Talking to somebody. Do you all have a check list when you do the asphalting, the contractor did this, the work, asphalting, whatever

This is an amazing neighborhood. So many great places like reverie and the ice cream bar and zazie. This is an incredible place to enjoy the day. Theres wine that you can buy. There is a postal service. There is hardware. Anything that you want is located in this community. Its one of the bestkept secrets in San Francisco. I know that because i come out here and hide a lot. [ laughter ]. We are creating the candidate pool doing selections from the candidate pool and bringing those staff in and selecting who we are going to offer employment to. Final category being staff that has been on boarded. That number is 84. That includes people and this number is much larger than it was two weeks ago. That including people who have either been offered a job and accepted and we have at least tentative start work date for people who have already started work. These are positions that have been onboarded from december 2022 to the present. Those 84 positions have started or will start work scheduled in january or february. We are pleased with that progress that we are seeing some movement in getting selections made and staff on boarded. As you can see from that middle column we have a large amount of work to do over the next 60 days to make those selections and get people onboarded in the system.
