The Xbox One version of Borderlands, playable via backwards compatibility, does not allow players to take screenshots. Microsoft confirmed that this was because of “licensing” issues. The game became available through the Xbox One Preview Program, but players were quick to report the inability to record gameplay or take screenshots.
