Winchester Coroners Court A HEDGE End man found unresponsive at home is thought to have died from multiple drug toxicity. Dean Davis, 57, was pronounced dead on April 21, an inquest opening heard. According to a post mortem report by Dr Balvinder Shoker, the death was caused by multiple drug toxicity, with pneumonia and constructive pulmonary disease contributing. He had been found unresponsive at his Wildern Lane Home. Senior coroner Chris Wilkinson adjourned the full inquest to February 7 2022.

Harry May, 80, died at his Victena Road in Fair Oak on April 6, an inquest heard. His neighbour, who was not named at the hearing, was concerned and saw Mr May’s body through the letter box. After pulling back a curtain through the letterbox, they saw Mr May collapsed at the bottom of the stairs. A post mortem by Dr Balvinder Shoker said preliminary cause of death was a fractured cervical vertebrae, with ischemic heart disease contributing. Area coroner Jason Pegg adjourned the full inquest to October 13.
