Pretoria's “beach” will no longer have guests for the weekend after a meeting with homeowners voted in favour of preventing “loud” short-stay visitors who “bring in cooler boxes and party in the parking lot”.

A resident said without any notice or consultation, they were informed that their guests would have to fork out R250 to access the estate’s lagoon.

Balwin announced in May that it had concluded an agreement with Reggie Kukama, which would see the two companies establish a BEE special purpose vehicle which will own 10% of Balwin.
