the hospital tells me the russell medical center in alexander city, alabama, that they treated several victims that have been treated and released which is good news. but there are several victims that have suffered that are gunshot victims, that suffered wounds that had to be transferred to other hospitals. now, this is a rural hospital, russell medical center be alexander city, alabama. they have 81 beds. it s not unusual that they have to transfer patients sometimes that need to see specialists or certain wounds, especially like gunshot wounds. they wouldn t get into specifics about numbers or the ages of the victims, all we know is there are several gunshot victims from dadeville, alabama, that were treated at this hospital, near by alexander city that have been transferred to other hospitals. that s what we ve been able to glean in the last 30 minutes. fox news can confirm there was a mass shooting in dadeville, alabama. there is a scene outside of the mahogany masterpie
