The Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) met with additional labour commissioner Manjunath Gangadhara, to present its inputs for the upcoming Bill on gig and platform workers welfare. The new Bill seeks to regulate workers service conditions and create a fund by setting up a Gig and Platform Workers Welfare Board, said Gangadhara.
The Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with The Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan (SMRJ). The MoU aims to support enterprises in India and Japan in expanding their businesses globally, exchanging information on trade and investment policies, and providing opportunities for SMEs and start-ups in both countries.
