While Air India has proposed a Rs 1,300 crore maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) facility, Tata Advanced Systems has planned three projects with an investment of Rs 1,030 crore, including a passenger-to-freighter aircraft conversion facility, a gun manufacturing facility and aerospace and defence research and development.
Air India and Tata Advanced Systems are set to invest Rs 2,300 crore in Karnataka, potentially creating 1,650 jobs.
