The Challenger Tour visits France once again, as the Archi Factory Open Lorient, a Challenger 5 level men’s event, takes place this week at the Top Form Squash & Fitness in Larmor Place.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event had limited entries, with only those residing in Andorra, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Spain, Switzerland and the host nation, France, being allowed to participate.
Five nationalities will feature in the draw, with four of those being represented among the top five seeds in the draw. Germany’s Valentin Rapp, the World No.119, will lead the way.

Challenger Tour Weekend Round-Up: Success For Crouin, Jaume & Amjad

There were three events on the PSA Challenger Tour that finished this weekend, with action taking place in Qatar, Spain and France, as squash continues in the run-up to the festive period.
The three tournaments were all Challenger 10 level, with several top 50 ranked players travelling back to their home nations to take part. All the events were limited to domestic-only participation due to COVID-19.
In France this weekend, the Challenger 10 level PSA Bordeaux Nord took place, with the final contested between the top two seeds. World No.46 Victor Crouin took on World No.36 Lucas Serme for the title.
