The Lucas County Board of Elections will determine if the referendum on a proposed amphitheater from a Waterville petition can legally be put on the November ballot.

Waterville Mayor Tim Pedro said developers have a long way to go before construction on the amphitheater begins.

The proposal is a partnership between Third Street Cigar Records and HB Concerts Inc. and HBC Management to develop an entertainment venue near South Pray Boulevard.
