Flood barriers put in place by Nailbourne river in Barham, Canterbury, as Storm Christoph set to hit Kent

Flood barriers have been put in place along a river as the county prepares to be hit by more heavy rain.
The city council is putting the measures in place near the river Nailbourne, which is flowing again through Barham, near Canterbury.

Yesterday, the city council worked with the Environment Agency and KCC to start erecting flood barriers along South Barham Road.
South Barham Road was closed yesterday while work was carried out, but is expected to reopen today.
