The son of legendary football commentator John Motson has said to all the word his father was Motty but to him he was 'just dad', telling mourners that he would 'miss his best mate'.
Motty, as he was best known to millions, died 'peacefully in his sleep' aged 77 after 50 years as the voice of British football and a final 12 months secretly battling illness in retirement.
