The Arkansas Senate on Tuesday handily voted to suspend Sen. Alan Clark and strip him of his seniority until the start of the 2023 regular session Jan. 9, and to recommend the Senate strip him of his seniority during the next two years.

The state Senate will resume deliberations Tuesday on its Ethics Committees finding that Sen. Alan Clark filed a frivolous ethics complaint against Sen. Stephanie Flowers, and the panels recommendation to suspend Clark for the rest of this year, the Senates leader said Wednesday, though Clark said he doesnt plan to attend the meeting.
