A $6 million fund designed to help small business owners hit by ram raids is yet to pay out a single cent.
The crime prevention fund was announced in May, by the then-Police Minister Poto Williams.
At the time, the minister said it would be used to help vulnerable small retailers identify effective and practical solutions to deter ram raiders. That includes things like fog cannons, security alarms, or screens at the front door.
