Police in Bandipora have arrested three terrorist associates linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT and recovered incriminating materials from their possession.
Acting on specific inputs, Bandipora police along with 13RR and 45BN CRPF in a joint operation at Rakhi Hajin apprehended 3 terrorist associates linked with proscribed terrorist outfit LeT.
They have been identified as Bashir Ahmed Mir, resident of Rakhi Hajin, Irfan Ahmad Bhat resident of Bonikhan Mohalla Hajin, and Hilal Ahmad Parray, resident of Parray Mohalla Hajin.

Srinagar, Feb 5: Police today arrested an Over Ground Worker (OGW) of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) from Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi after he was deported from Qatar.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, said that Muneeb Sofi from Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district was working for Pakistani militant, Waleed Bhai who was killed in an encounter at Kulgam last year.
“Kulgam police arrested a wanted top OGW of JeM outfit Munib Sofi of Bijbehara from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi who was deported today from Qatar. He was working for Pakistani terrorist Waleed Bhai who was killed in an encounter at Kulgam last year,” he said.

A police spokesman in a statement said acting on specific inputs, Bandipora police along with 13RR and 45BN CRPF in a joint operation at Rakhi Hajin apprehended three militant associates linked with proscribed outfit LeT.
“They have been identified as Bashir Ahmed Mir son of Abdul Ahad Mir resident of Rakhi Hajin, Irfan Ahmad Bhat @Ifa son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat resident of Bonikhan Mohalla Hajin and Hilal Ahmad Parray son of Ghulam Mustaffa Parray resident of Parray Mohalla Hajin,” said the spokesman.
“As per police records, they were involved in providing shelter, logistic and other support to the active militants in Sumbal and Hajin areas,” he said.

Srinagar, Feb 5 : J&K police on Friday arrested three terror associates linked to proscribed terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba from Bandipora district and recovered incriminating materials from their possession, officials said.
The officials said that acting on specific inputs, the police in Bandipora in a joint operation with the army and the CRPF apprehended three terror associates linked to LeT from Rakhi Hajin in Bandipora district.
The arrested persons have been identified as Bashir Ahmed Mir, a resident of Rakhi Hajin, Irfan Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Bonikhan Mohalla Hajin, and Hilal Ahmad Parray, a resident of Parray Mohalla Hajin.

Acting on specific input, security forces apprehended three militant associates linked with LeT in the Rakhi Hajin area of the north Kashmir district, a police spokesman said.
He identified them as Bashir Ahmed Mir, a resident of Rakhi Hajin; Irfan Ahmad Bhat alias Ifa, a resident of Bonikhan Mohalla Hajin and Hilal Ahmad Parray, a resident of Parray Mohalla Hajin.
