GUWAHATI: A team of AIUDF (All India United Democratic Front) on Friday submitted a memorandum to State Home Secretary Seema Rekha Bhuyan regarding the security of party supremo and MP Badruddin Ajmal.
The memorandum stated that Ajmal s popularity in the political atmosphere is increasing significantly and has become the reason of tension for some politicians and their parties. Hence, Ajmal has become the target of political sabotage, the memorandum read.

New Delhi, Dec 10: The Supreme Court has asked the Jammu and Kashmir High Court to decide on December 21 review pleas against its verdict scrapping the Roshni Act which face rights to people over land in the UT.
The court said that it would hear in January appeals challenging the October 9 verdict of the Jammu and Kashmir HC which scrapped the Act.
A batch of special leave petitions were filed in the Supreme Court against a Jammu and Kashmir High Court order scrapping the Roshni Act that gave proprietary rights to occupants of state land, with the petitioners pleading that they never encroached on government land and were never made a party in the case.
