Some parents are raising concerns about the contents of a history textbook for basic 4 pupils on religion, specifically Christianity.

Education experts are worried about some claims made in a book titled "History of Ghana for Basic Schools," targeted towards basic four pupils and reportedly approved by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA).

The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) say they have called for the withdrawal of the textbook “History of Ghana for Basic Schools-Learners’ Book Four” whose content is causing an uproar on social media.
