Touring Lesotho has always been on my bucket list. Since I was a boy I dreamt of touring SADC countries, and top of my list were Lesotho, South Africa (SA), and Namibia.

Lesotho: Government reflects on 100 days achievements

As a number of media outlets have reported, a motion in Lesotho’s parliament aims to declare the entire Free State and areas of NC, KZN, MP and EC as part of the small mountain kingdom. Is there merit in this, wonders analyst Siyabonga Hadebe.

I saw it coming. First, the Afrikaners claimed Orania. Then some imported historians revealed that the first inhabitants were Khoisans. Surprisingly, Khoisans are blacks and not whites. Golf estates and economic exclusion areas were captured. Now, Lesotho, whose Basotho are stripping SA of minerals (zama zamas), wants parts of the Free State.

My dream since I was a little boy was to tour all SADC countries, top of the list being Lesotho, South Africa, and Namibia.
