But something must have changed along the way. The duoâs software behemoth Atlassian is now a member of the industry group.

A BCA spokesman confirmed Atlassian had quietly signed on as a member of the heavyweight peak body in the past financial year.

Also scoring a gig was Coles regional supermarket manager
John Appleby. Appleby kept his local Batemanâs Bay Coles open for three days as the 2020 summer bushfires ravaged the NSW South Coast even though phone lines were down, electricity was cut and roads were blocked.
For this he is a finalist in the Biggies Awards, run by the BCA, which recognise positive business contributions to the community.
