Guidelines for fully vaccinated people
You are fully vaccinated for COVID-19… now what?
Yes, it is still advised to wear a mask in public settings. Yes, it is still recommended to avoid medium and large-sized gatherings. Yes, it is still advised to practice social distancing.
“Although we are making great strides in Chippewa County in regards to vaccination efforts, we urge the public to keep in mind that we still have a long way to go,” said Karen Senkus, health officer at the Chippewa County Health Department.
Senkus cited the Centers for Disease Control recommendations that were recently issued for those who are fully vaccinated. These recommendations indicate that if a person is fully vaccinated, they may be able to relax some of the precautions that have been in place. Gatherings that are small and include people from different households that are also fully vaccinated are relatively low-risk.
