Much of Newfoundland and Labrador is under weather warnings Saturday, as rain and winter storm conditions continue to wallop large swaths of the island and extreme cold grips parts of Labrador.
Most of Newfoundland is under some kind of weather warning, with up to 45 centimetres of snow possible for the northeast coast, along with 130 km/h winds.
Special weather statements are in place from Environment Canada across eastern Newfoundland, Bay of Exploits and the Connaigre region, where 25-35 centimetres of snow could fall by the end of Thursday.
