harvey weinstein just refused to work for him or work with him or hire him, he would be rendered powerless. that s what we need to do. when we hear stories over and over again about predators, stop working with them. and that s how we threaten their finances. and then we threaten their freedom by getting them prosecuted and put behind bars for things like rape. obviously, you can t do that for sexual harassment, but once we start seeing huge consequences, once we see that first person behind bars, i guarantee you, there s going to be a shift in behavior across the country. go ahead, greaten. gretchen. one of the things i figured out in my analysis in my recent book be fierce was the idea that almost all the women who reached out to me by the thousands, all of them are no longer working in their chosen professional field, and that is outrageous. why should women be stripped of
back down if you say no. and kind of just forced me into doing something i didn t want to do. once again, harvey weinstein s lawyers are denying any allegations of nonconsensual sex. they are part of the enablers and cover uppers and shut up the victims. what do we say to the women who were allegedly the honey pots, who were in the room as women came in and then left the room? they are as much to blame. do they have culpability? of course, it s outrageous this can go on for three decades, we re not going to be enablers and bystandsers, imagine how that changes the dynamic, stop doing it, i don t approve how you spoke to that woman. it stops it cold. people can learn all about how to become allies in my book be fierce which is a central message. i do hope you buy the book, be fierce, gretchen carlson, thanks for joining us and thanks for being fierce on our behalf. appreciate it.
