good morning. that s right. three named storms right now in the atlantic. we have ian, julia and newly formed tropical storm karl. now ian is going to head to the north and not be an issue for anyone. so we re going to focus on julia and karl. julia, still a tropical storm. it weakened to a tropical depression yesterday and it should return to tropical depression status tomorrow. it s going to move off the south carolina and north carolina coast. and now karl. karl is a 45 miles per hour and slowly gain some strength and in fact this latest forecast has it becoming a category one hurricane wednesday morning but notice it s starting to move it to the north. we hope it stays out to sea. in the meantime, feels tropical locally. uncomfortable amounts of humidity today. not oppressive. but uncomfortable. and that s going to translate into a typical round of summer afternoon storms, about a 40% on the 8s, i will take you hour- by-hour through your friday. and leslee lacey has the
