A man from Honoka’a has been arrested and charged with shooting an arrow into the arm of a woman while she was walking to her car on Sep. 6 at Hāpuna Beach State Recreation Area on the Big Island.
The arrow left a small puncture hole in the driver’s side passenger door but did not pierce all the way through. Fortunately, no one was injured in the Big Island incident.
