John Hundley, Mandisas father told people gathered at at Brentwood Baptist Church in Nashville to honor and celebrate Mandisas life how she may have died

"American Idol" stars Danny Gokey, Melinda Doolittle and Colton Dixon performed "Shackles (Praise You)" by duo Mary Mary as a tribute to Mandisa on Monday's episode.

The father of late Christian singer Mandisa has said he doesn't believe she died from self-harm and had been “weak,” struggling with recovering from COVID-19, at the time of her death. 

Police have found no indication of suspicious or criminal activity in the death of Mandisa Hundley, who was found at her home in the city of Franklin last week.
