BEARDS FORK — The community served by the Southern Appalachian Labor School received a delivery from the heart last Saturday.

The Southern Appalachian Labor School is operating monthly food pantries at the Historic Oak Hill School in Oak Hill and at the Beards Fork Community Center.

After a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, volunteers have announced that the Community Thanksgiving Meal is returning to the Lewis Christian Community Center.
