Fort Payne area service clubs are joining forces, with the support of the city, for a spring clean up along Beason Gap Road, and everyone is invited to participate.

Times Staff Report Fort Payne police have charged a man with impersonating a peace officer after he allegedly pointed a gun at a motorist stopped at a traffic light, claiming to be a federal agent.  Brian Tra’Bael, 50, Fort Payne, formerly of Georgia, also is charged with second-degree possession of forged instruments and aggravated assault and menacing.   The motorist on April 28 filed a report at the Fort Payne Police Department about the alleged incident, according to a news release f...
