Prosecutors in Lincoln County want the state Supreme Court to decide if it’s constitutional to seek the death penalty for a man defense attorneys say is intellectually disabled.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. A missing 20-year-old Sioux Falls woman who was thought to have been abducted after she left work at the Walmart in far eastern Sioux Falls early Sunday morning has been found dead.
Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said Tuesday, Jan. 7, that the body of Pasqalina Esen Badi was found next to a rural road in nearby Lincoln County.
She was last seen leaving the store about 5 a.m. on Sunday in the 5500 block of Arrowhead Parkway and walking to her car. The car was then seen driving away.
