♪ i recall it as being a relatively peaceful day. that evening we had dinner because we had never talked about gun, it had never occurred to me to even think about that. i got into bed first. i dropped off to sleep. i opened my eyes because i heard him talking. and i saw the gun. he had it pointed at his head. i immediately reared up on my knees and lunged for the gun. i touched his hands. and i dont know exactly what happened, but what i do know is i did not shoot my husband.
