NEW BEDFORD After a three-alarm fire crippled a building in the northern part of the South End early into the night on Sunday, local residents and businesses are now facing the aftermath of the damage. My life is there, said restaurant owner Javier Rojas, reflecting on his 22-year-old business. The most I lost there were the memories.
According to the New Bedford Fire Department, several calls reported a structure fire at 1:57 a.m. at 95 Rivet St. The building is a three-story mixed occupancy with the former Mi Antojo Mexican Restaurant on the ground level and apartments on the second and third floors.
