Upper Adams School District’s (UASD) Canner Fund is hoping for a huge turnout during the upcoming Giving Spree in November, according to a release issued by the organization.

The state Department of Education believes some of Broward's issues — including under-reporting of crimes, failure to work with law enforcement and allowing students with serious felony issues back on campus — “are ongoing and require immediate action.” District officials say they've already made significant progress.
