The memorandum provides for expanding cooperation in non-energy applications of nuclear technologies, nuclear medicine and production of medical equipment, digitization, modernization of industrial enterprises, waste recycling, production of ionizing radiation detectors, and other areas.
Belarus is studying the possibility of re-equipping its cancer facilities jointly with the Russian state nuclear industry corporation Rosatom, Deputy Chair of the State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus Tatiana Stolyarova said at the Belarusian energy and environmental forum Energy Expo in Minsk on 17 October.
In order to implement previously reached agreements and resume bilateral interaction, an initiative was put forward in favor of organizing the third session of the Belarus-Hungary working group on scientific and technical cooperation in 2023.
