NSW Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant has urged residents of Sydney’s Northern Beaches and the Greater Sydney Region to continue to present for testing, stressing they are critical in helping the state understand the current cluster.
It comes as NSW recorded 5 new cases of coronavirus in the 24 hours to 8pm on Sunday.
Four of the five cases were linked to the Avalon cluster, with the remaining case linked to a previously recorded case which is still under investigation.
Dr Chant also encouraged anyone with COVID symptoms who had attended the Belrose Hotel or been in the CBD throughout December to come forward for testing.
