A couple of months ago, my wife and I spent an idyllic week and a half in Far North Queensland’s Trinity Beach (near Cairns). Shame about the name! Everything else about the place can only be spoken about in superlatives – especially its serenity. The resort where we stayed (not for the first time) boasts vistas of mountain and water scenery riveting in its beauty and blessedly viewable from the balcony of our studio apartment.
