The Gambling Commission confirmed on Tuesday that Allwyn, which runs lotteries in Austria, the Czech Republic and Greece, will run the National Lottery from February 2024.
Lottery company Camelot claim they will cease to exist if the right to stage the draw is handed to Czech-owned newcomer Allwyn Entertainment, the High Court heard.
The showdown over the fate of the National Lottery (pictured) will be heard in the High Court this week, with Camelot possibly set to lose its licence after 28 years.
