East Manatee County-based real estate company Benderson Development, one of the largest retail landlords in the country, has acquired 28 Fred Meyer stores located throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. The acquisition adds nearly 4.5 million square feet of properties to the companyâs growing portfolio, which now totals over 45 million square feet, according to a statement.
