First Half - In what turned out to be one of the most frustrating, satisfying, and confusing games in recent memory, the
Pittsburgh Steelers overcame a 24-7 halftime deficit against the
Indianapolis Colts to win 28-24 behind an impressive second half from Ben Roethlisberger, who passed for 342 yards and 3 TDs. It was a tale of two halves. In the first half, all signs pointed to another lackluster performance from the offense in a game where the defense looked like it might have to score for them (which they nearly did). After a strip sack by LB TJ Watt, who set a new career mark in sacks in a season with 15, CB Mike Hilton returned the fumble down to the Colts 3 yard-line. Pittsburgh scored on a James Conner run 3 plays later. There is very little to note apart from that gift from the Colts offense, as the Steelers would punt 5 times in the first half alone.
