Quebec spending $3.6 million on methane reduction

Quebec dairy farmers will get to share $3.6 million to move closer to their goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2050. Quebecs minister of agriculture, fisheries and food, André Lamontagne, and his colleague in the environment, climate change, wildlife and parks department, Benoit Charette, will make the announcement Thursday afternoon on the sidelines of the annual Quebec dairy producers general meeting, which is being held in Saint-Hyacinthe since Wednesday.

Montreal city councillors call for environmental stations in the east

Montreal councillors are calling for two new sampling stations in Montreals east end and for the provincial government to create a public registry of environmental information, as required by law.
