Three out of 1.8 million fully vaccinated people in Michigan DIED after contracting COVID-19 and 246 people still caught the virus after getting their shots
At least 246 people in Michigan, who were fully immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine, have tested positive for coronavirus
Health officials say 11 of the so-called breakthrough cases were hospitalized and three people died
No identifying information was available for the three deaths except that they were aged 65 or older
Pfizer-BioNTech. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are 72% to 95% effective, meaning 5% to 28% of all fully vaccinated people will fall ill
So far, about 2.95 million residents have received at least one dose and 1.8 million Michiganders are fully vaccinated
