Wednesday, February 17, 2021 10:39 am Jerry M. Cox, 80, of the Benton Station Community, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 2, 1940, to the late J.T. and Pauline Wilson Cox in Old Fort. In addition to his parents, J.T. and Pauline Cox, he was preceded in death by his brother, Cleo Cox. Survivors include his beloved wife of 59 years, Iva Burns Cox; loving children: Mitchell K. Cox and Tommy Cox and his wife, Sonja; grandsons: Bailey and Brody Cox; sister-in-law, Dot Cox; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at Benton Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Jimmy Parm and Pastor Floyd Boggess officiating.
