Upon entering the theater, audiences were immediately reminded of their hometown as Berkeley institutions like The Butcher’s Son and Cheese Board Collective Pizzeria are incorporated into the set.

While the show is a bit long, Berkeley Rep's "Bulrusher" is a fascinating, complicated piece which is both exceptionally well done and entertaining.
