The incredible feat of landing on Mars was achieved by university-trained engineers. Research in alternate power sources, reduction of CO2, and environmental protection is being conducted at universities.

Let me see if I have this straight: about $150,000 in pension for life even if one leaves the office of governor general in disgrace, a lifetime expense allowance of up to $206,000 annually, no questions asked and multi-million dollar government grants to set up a charitable foundation in one’s area of interest upon leaving office. Wow!
