For GFFD leaders, it was a chance to offer teachable moments and explain their work in more detail, but also to make a pitch for recruitment.

The celebratory lunch was held in the Memorial Ballroom on Wednesday, Feb. 16. About 150 students attended as did their mentors and UND administrators. Featured student speakers spoke about their involvement with the programs and heard about the opportunities that education can provide.
