Bethany Barker, 20, collapsed at her boyfriend’s parents home days after she gave birth to a baby girl because of a hospital mix up with medication.  2 Bethany Barker was prescribed the wrong dose of a drug that increased the risk of her developing a blood clot.Credit: Evening Gazette She was rushed to University Hospital of North Tees, Stockton, where she was pronounced dead on August 29, 2018.

Last minute Christmas shoppers were in full swing at the Acadiana Mall. Despite the pandemic they’re making sure to cross off everything on their list and are getting a bit of everything for their families. “We eat a lot of gumbo and we don't have enough gumbo bowls and plates so they have a real nice selection over here,” said shopper Frank Vacque.
