and he and his team have been saying over and over again they believe the situation is untenable. they are looking at ways to fix it, particularly as we know title 42 is coming to an end at some point and nobody believes them. today this week the biden team made clear they are willing to take on the more progressive parts of the party because they know that it is a problem. there are also a lot of democrats, people like mark kelly from arizona and others, members of congress from border states who i don t want to speak for them who do believe we need to do more to crack down on illegal crossings to try to get people to go through those legal areas of entry. there are a lot of democrats who support tougher border enforcement. not in the way donald trump tried to do certainly but believe that joe biden is trying to do the right thing here absent congress doing the right thing. which is the ultimate fix. harris: let me ask you a fix follow. how do you deal with the people

even necessary? do they have to agree to get something done? well, i think to marie s point about people being happy with joe biden there was a poll last week and hardly an outlier poll that 52% of democrats want to move on from joe biden. you can t say that the party is very happy with him. also just one note on this border. this is like putting a wine cork in niagara falls. now the northern border is wide open. the message is out that joe biden and his administration aren t serious about securing the border. it s a big problem not just for him but democrats going into this election. the american people are not on board with this lackluster policy towards open borders. harris: i really think there is something to what both of you are saying particularly you, marie, when you say the president is dealing with the far left side of his party. they are asking for volunteers to go up north to the
