So we have been able to give back more than had a millionandahalf hours of volunteerism and 130 million in grants much to the k12 system here in San Francisco and oakland. And also, we run 28,000 nonprofits and ngos for our service. Every year we love to dedicate and focus dreamforce to a specific cause. Its a very important part of us and we get to see all of these great causes around the world and so many people doing gods work and so thrilled to partner and unite with them and we celebrate red, and ceo of red who has fought aids tirelessly throughout the world and celebrating her with this incredible red store, selling hundreds of thousands of reds products more than we expected on the dreamforce campus. Tonight one of the founders of red bono is going to perform for us tonight at the cow palace. I want to tell you that the entire committee is excited about the state of the art city at third and evans. We know that our Community Needs this kind of stability, and we need comprehensive programs that will serve the needs of the community. I like your idea, commissioner, the new green building, we have to move things forward in terms of our building that they are efficient and on another note, as a former dean of the southie campus, i served in that capacity for 12 years. As a former Education School district and city college and i will tell you years i was, i had a wonderful im actually delighted about this view of the art facility. Our Community Needs a firstclass facility. And,
It is wrong to force me to provide the locations of where ever i am in that particular calendar so i have a big issue with that. Thank you very much. Mr. Preston i think too much happens in secret at city hall and strong proponent of open government laws. Supervisor breed now provides her calendar because the law passed requiring her to and was a 101 vote at the board of supervisors and she was the lone opponent and while shes entitled to have her concerns about that legislation, the other tenant supervisors thought that it was worthy of passing that law to require folks who are paying salaries of our supervisors and you are supervisors or representing us to know who theyre meeting with and when. Thats a basic right that this is a basic for anyone who believes in the sunshine and openness and city governments did i think that law was a nobrainer and as i said it past 101. So while the other supervisors agreed that it is eight essential to have a level of disclosure. Thank you very much
