Ceremonies were held across all district offices in the state to honour his memory. At the Tripura Pradesh Congress office, senior Congress leaders gathered to pay homage. The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag at half-mast, in accordance with the national mourning declared due to the accidental death of the President of Iran.
